ABOUT US
The Neighbourhood Food Hub Initiative is a pilot project exploring how to repurpose under-utilized community infrastructure. Catalyzing local food security networks the NFH is building an inclusive, supportive community space to help launch emerging food security organizations, innovative local food businesses and community groups and house progressive and dynamic food security programs.
The NFH is led and operated by a partnership between Applegrove Community Complex and the Leslieville Farmers' Market. The project is supported in part by the City of Toronto, Metcalf Foundation, Trillium Foundation and Healthy Communities Canada.
